Is that possible? The insurance agent is wondering... Experts confirm - we are not the only ones. The heating pipes, running through the attic, froze up during the cold season (down to -20°C), burst in two places as a consequence and became a kind of sprinkler system in our bedroom.

Just returned from Salzburg, where I conducted an Advanced PREPARE/ENRICH Seminar together with Dr. Arthur Domig. ...  And I have to say, Salzburg is a beautiful city!

The new year has begun and the line "laughter or crying will be blessed" from the beautiful song "Komm, Herr, segne uns" (Dieter Trautwein) is still ringing in my ears from yesterdays sermon.  It kind of sumarizes what we would like to wish all our friends and relatives.

Yes, indeed, after almost 40 years the varnish and luster are gone.... Off my guitar, that is. Thus my family stuck their heads together and decided to get me a new guitar for my birthday present. But since after all those years of playing around with the old one this ain't easy....

Those glorious 9 days are gone and I have gained my advance on Carol once again. Together with Carol, Carol's parents, Christina, Melissa and Marcel we celebrated my birthday today...

Those weird nine days of the year have come again, when Carol and I are of the same age. Yesterday, December 16, Carol turned 50 plus and I will be a quarter of a century in a few days ... if turn around the numbers.  ;-)

After more than two years I have been on sick leave again and had to stay in bed.

Mum and dad are celebrating their "I do"s - they have been married for 30 years now... a looooooooooong time... they must be old... :P

 

Congratulations :) May God bless the next 30 or 100 years too!

For 30 years of marriage! You stood by me - in good times and also in the other ones.

I am quite stressed right now ...

With Carol's business and my mini-job as supervisor we had to pay three license fees for radio. Once for private use and twice for using a "new type radio" (= PC with internet access) for our business

Many of you know that Carol is representing PREPARE/ENRICH in the German speaking countries for more than 25 years. Now she is working on the newest version.

Today my mother would have been 80 years old!  Her early death some 18 years ago does not limit our memories.

"Do you know who turned 18 today?" Carol asked innocently.  Of course - as all men - I had no idea....

Carol's parents are visiting at the moment.  The long journey from England was accomplished by car - as has been the case for many years!

Even though the term has ended, I am sitting in Friedensau - with wonderful sunshine and blue sky....

Lydia and Daniel are ill....  Johannes is ill as well.... Thus the kiddies are at our place....

 

With more than 30° C the summer arrived in Germany.... Even at our place.

Not even three weeks old (well, actually  3 years / 90.000 km) and our new used car, a Chevrolet Matiz went down and needed to go in for major repairs ....
