In Verbindung bleiben - Staying in Touch
Late - but better late than never ... we want to share with our readers (and not only to Facebook users) about magistra nostra!
Since yesterday I officially won't be a student from the 1st of October... it's a strange feeling to have that stamp in your “Studienbuch” after I have been studying here for 4 years now... it's also strange because all my exams are still ahead of me :D
This week a few things ended... after handing in my “zula” on the 12th (yes – only half an hour before the deadline but hey... it's done) that week ended pretty fast. So the “write-your-zula”-phase of my life ended. And this week also uni and school ended...
Somehow time flies... I don't know how it happened... but apparently a week is over again and we're entering the holy Sabbath hours! What would I do without this break during my weeks... I don't know :)
Yeaaaah .... I got 7 1/2 weeks holidays and am going to enjoy every day!
I just thought I could write a few words again... Since a few things happened since I'm back in Freiburg – or even not Freiburg... but let me start at the beginning :)
Christina has a nice maisonette appartment! We are waiting for pictures and details.
By now Christina has safely returned to Freiburg. Today she is going to have a look at a nice, not too expensive flat near university. We hope it will work out. :-)
It is Thursday night, almost 11 o'clock and were am I?! I am sitting in Melanie's house – instead of the plane to London... and so you know all about getting home I'll just collect everything and post it when I'm home ;)
Mo 16:30 Yes!!!! Christina is home at last. After a 92 hours journey from Canada to Neuenhagen..... Read all about it in Christina's blog!
it's amazing how fast a semester can fly by, how many great people you can met in that time and how much time you can spend in the library :D This week I had my last classes, I took my first exam (and passed it ;) ) and I was supposed to study – but didn't do toooo much.
Wow... time is just flying... and I thought it would be nice to post a few more things before I am actually not here any more – I realise I am really bad with staying in touch and I would be sooo easy... just posting something every now and then. Oh well... I have an hour and then I promised to be in bed – so here comes some Canada-update for you.
Maybe I was inspired by the wind blowing outside to finally do one (or two or three) tests on spiritual gifts. Well... I have to for my leadership-paper... but it is kind of interesting to know anyway.
I'm writing with ehmm Annina sitting and talking ;) but I thought you might want a new note from me... I had a look a my pictures today – I have loads from every Sabbath (all but one) I've been here :D that must be because I've always found a bunch of people to go out for a walk with me – and we also had pretty good weather on Sabbaths so far :)
It's Friday... once again – these days just keep coming up ;) So I'll keep you a little updated on my time here... I'm halfway through it already... I know – some of you are happy to hear, others aren't – and I'm somewhere in between... I really enjoy being here and met an awful lot of great people :) but I've also left family and friends behind when I left. Okay, enough of that... let's get to the fun stuff :)
mondenschein?!? :D (Christina is complaining about the translation here..... don't worry, it doesn't make sense in English...)
Christina was able to get health insurance coverage at last!!! What a relief - now her parents can sleep again.
